16oz can. Bottom stamp is 'BATCH #1210 5.6.25'.
Clear, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head with the pour and this becomes islands and a clinging ring. After the initial horizontal lacing ring from the pour, only a few small spots of lacing are left behind.
Aroma is bright with floral/spicy hops and sweet biscuit malts.
Taste has a malt base with a toasted biscuit flavor. The hops bring floral and spicy flavors. Light apple touch. Sweetness from the malts is balanced by the bitterness from the hops. Kind of a short aftertaste but the apple gets more prominent.
Medium mouthfeel. Clean and crisp, with a dry finish. Very good carbonation.
Great clarity in the body, with a solid blend of sweet, tanginess, and spice, and a dry finish.

L-Clear, light golden color...excellent clarity. Not much for head on this but I maybe that was due to user error....I didn't try to pour it to generate it like I should have.
S-Oily herbal, lightly spicy aroma..very fragrant
T-Nice herbal/spicy hops up front....floral...a little bit of biscuity maltiness as well but the hops carry the flavor profile and in a good way...
F-Medium bodied...clean...crisp....dry on the finish with a touch of bitterness.
O-Great to see Bauhaus kick out a great true to style pilsner. Maybe lacks a little of the malt impression I'd expect from a Czech style pils but doesn't carry the bitter hop flavor of a German style...the malt may seem subdued here simply because the noble hops aromas and flavors are so strong (and appealing)

16 oz can into a tall Pilsner glass.
L: SRM 2 Pours light caramel gold with a thin slightly soapy white head that recedes quickly to a thin skin, large steady carbonation bubbles, random light skeletal lacing.
S: Lightly bready, vinous hop notes, gently floral, a hint of apple skin.
T: Chipper spicy hops, pale sweet malts, a suggestion of sea salt, lime zest, light grains, moderately floral tasting, an extremely light touch of honey. It has a gently rich malty center with a bright hoppy finish that has a long zesty linger.
F: Crisp with a bright twang, medium-light bodied with a clean middle and a medium-fast fairly drying finish that lingers.
O: A Pilsner that really satisfies the thirst and taste buds. Crisp, bright, clean, and tangy. It is outstanding in its style. I would buy this again.

Compared to 56 Brewing Crispy Business 12/2023: Pours darker, clearer, similar head. Stronger aromas and flavors. More bread and salty bitterness. Less lemon zest. More full and smooth. Winner: Bahaus
Compared to Luce Line Piedmont 1/2024: Pours similar, milder head. Less lemon citrus. More zesty yeast and bread malts. Less citrusy, but more bitter and yeasty. Winner: Zizkov
Compared to Bahaus Wonderstuff 4/2024: Pours identical. Milder aromas. More bitter yeast and pale malts. Less sweet lemon citrus. Slightly more tart and bitter.
to Portage Chatter Chatter 7/25: Pours darker, milder aromas. Less salty and tart lemon. More smooth and buttery. Winner: Bauhaus.
Overall: Bahaus can make a great Czech Pils as I've had Wonderstuff many times. This one is very similar. Bready, lemon, salty, and buttery. Even some bitterness off the end. Rounded and an excellent Czech Pils. Glad I picked up a four-pack. (Rating: 4.15)
