Dark brown colored body. One finger of light tan head, and this settles to a cap and ring. Leaves behind rings of lacing.
Aroma of dark roasted malts - toasted dark bread, caramel, and a bit of chocolate and coffee.
Taste has a sweet note, but also dark roasted malts that bring some bitterness. Dark bread, caramel, chocolate, and coffee. Touch of floral hops. Mellow aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel. Slightly chalky, and minor tongue numbing. Good carbonation.
Crisp lager that brings the darkness.
