From a 12 ounce can, the body pours a faded, not quite clear yellow with good initial head. Light lacing throughout the tasting.

Aroma is earthy hop piney goodness and sweet malt in the background.

Taste follows nose as the bitterness rises and is met with a sturdy malty backbone.

Carbonation was good with solid mouthfeel. Things dry up nicely and finish is soft.

A: Softy hazy tangerine orange has a full display of macro-effervesce. A stone white, two inch rocky head is steadfast in holding. Sticky web design lacing dress the vessel. Solid presentation.

S: Modest tones of malted barley and semi-dry pine. Some yeasty citric tones, soft wet grass, and a bit of tangerine. Aroma has lasting legs.

T: Crisp citric orange tangerine flavor, tangy yeasty bite, soft barley backing and a bit of flowery pine hops. Musky sour citrus and some grassy hop fade.

M: Crisp bite, full body, soft luscious feel with a good amount of carbonation texture.

O: Overall a solid hop profile that blends well with a traditional american cascade hop profile. Good drinkability and good per style.

Not sure how to rate this one qnd be fair. Its well done and other beer they make that I've tried was very good.
Bottom line is if you're an ipa fan I think you would like this as the bitterness had a choke hold on it

Notes via stream of consciousness: A hazy golden body shows only a few bubbles rising here and there to take their place beneath a short head of white foam. The aroma is quite odd with a kind of spicy and vegetal thing going on backed by a berry-like fruitiness. It's not the worst thing in the world but it's certainly not enticing. On to the taste... the same thing found in the aroma carries over but it's not as prominent. There's some grainy malt and more of the berry-like fruitiness. The label states that it's brewed with Mosaic hops and that makes sense. It's firmly bitter, somewhere in the upper median range for a pale ale, but it's a little harsh which is distracting. It finishes dry and lingers with a resinous/piney character at the back of the tongue and throat. In the mouth it's medium bodied and gently crisp. The head didn't hold on for too long but it has left some nice lacing which is nice. There are some flaws to this beer and I'm hoping that this is a single batch issue.
