For a hotel bar, their tap line and service is what's the best for this place. They try to keep Old Rasputin on nitro as much as they can. Some musical acts show up from Thursdays to Sundays. Pretty clean little place and even when the musicians aren't playing, it can be a pretty enjoyable place to hit up in the downtown for some beers.

The Alaskan is one of Juneau's oldest bars. It's basically a dark dive bar with a nice selection of craft handles. Occasionally live music, which tends toward the acoustic folk singer/songwriter end of the spectrum.
As for beer, I believe there are 18 taps. As with any establishment in Juneau, Alaskan Brewing is well represented. Other AK breweries are usually on tap here, including at least one Midnight Sun offering (I've seen up to 3), Baranof Island, and occasionally Denali. They tend to rotate through some other decent beers from the Northwest with some regularity.
The downside is some occasional off-tasting beers, my guess for this is old and/or dirty draft lines.
All in all, a great spot to check out in downtown Juneau.
