On tap at Winking Judge, Vancouver.
Amber; candied nose; hit of C hops; medium body.

Very early 2000s (but so is Falconer’s Flight as a blend, so can I blame them for that?) Round but dull. I’d expect something MOR such as this from the likes of Granville Island.
Postmark is more about their building than their beer.

Appearance - Pours a warm coppery amber hue with two fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - Citrus hops, bready caramel malts, citrus fruits (lemon, orange, grapefruit), hint of mango and honey.
Taste - Bitterness of citrus hops and citrus rind, followed up with balance of bready malts. Citrus and tropical fruits are well attenuated. Bitterness crops up again in the finish, along with a touch of caramel malt sweetness.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Slight sticky feeling on the palate.
Overall - An IPA that is a great demonstration of the balance between hops and malts, without losing the impact of either ingredient. Not a "hops punching in your face" brew, but a tasty one at that. Citrus flavour is refreshing throughout.
