You know, it’s ok, and it’s hard to go wrong with a barrel aged beer, but this is on the lower end. The barrel and booze is too unbalanced, and it’s got char and malts (but not in a particularly exciting way).

A - Black pour that's light on the lacing.
S - Light bourbon / whiskey, oak, some chocolate sweetness and a hint of cherry.
T - Chocolate, chocolate char, roasted chocolate malt, cherry, oak, and finishes with a lingering bourbon / whiskey presence.
M - Thick, chewy, and viscous with some significant warming on the way down.
O - Bourbon is overpowering and dominates the beer.
