Located across from a lake in Edgewater, a suburb just west of Denver, Joyride Brewing is a nice little brewery; it has a friendly family atmosphere, well-lit with large open windows and a scattering of high tops and communal tables. There are plenty of dogs and kids around - though the dogs seemed to be better mannered than the brats. Joyride has a wide variety of styles, including several tasty IPAs. While they do not serve food, there is a food truck outside; you order, take a number and await delivery to your seat or stool. Nice place. If you are like me, and have no desire to drive during your pubcrawl, the No. 28 bus from downtown can drop at the corner.

Great brew pub at a great location. Garage doors open allowing open air feel inside. Family and dog friendly and a great selection of beers. Variety of food trucks scheduled for caloric intake. We'll definetly go back

i dug this place a lot, and what a location, right by sloans lake, and in a vibrant neighborhood that is up and coming fast. a sprawling taproom too, with some open seating and a nice vibe, bustling on the weekends, family friendly, with some ten or so beers on tap. i thought all the beer was pretty solid, the nice porter, the double ipa, and the winter warmer were all excellent, and the staff was attentive, generous with the sampling, and seeming to handle a big crowd very efficiently and pleasantly. one of the brewers was behind the bar, and was happy to take time from a busy bar to talk about his recipes and process, which i always appreciate. i like the transparency. prices were definitely fair, and despite the place being super loud (a few acoustic treatments would go a long way), i will definitely be back here, and look forward to watching them grown into their space. a great addition to this neighborhood, maybe best in summery weather all opened up. not one of the more distinctive breweries around in terms of beer, but they are a good fit in this part of town.

Vibe - A chill place with a bunch of TVs. Great place to watch whatever sport you desire. They have garage doors that they open up when it's nice. The only problem (and they can't control it) is the traffic going down Sheridan. It can get loud. Location is great as it is kitty-corner from Sloan Lake and also in a quaint main street district. Tons of board games.

Quality - The beer keeps getting better and better. My favorites:
Touchdown Brown Ale
Ice Cutter Kolsch
Boxer Saison
Nice Porter

Service - Quick, friendly, informative, fun.

Selection - Last time I was there they had 9 beers including a Winter Warmer and a Mild (This was in mid-January).

Overall - Fun brewery. You will be loved if you love the Buckeyes. The place is in a great location as you can go exercise (or chill) at Sloan Lake and walk right over to Joyride.

This place has a great view of Sloan's Lake across the street. The plethora of open garage doors facilitates this, but also allows for traffic noise, which isn't all that bad.

Longer than I thought the place would be. Seats about 97 I think across two rooms, that really aren't separated. Parking would suck, but i walked.

Long bar has two large flatscreens showing sports; I guess you gotta have 'em. Service was slow, but they were packed on their second day of opening

Beers were technically fine, a glitch here or there, but otherwise solid. Overall, they were light in flavor. This is paired with lower abv than a lot of new breweries' beers. Makes for nice drinking sessions. Didn't see much for food, but there are establishments across the street
