Mu Brewery

Charming, in the middle of the Aurora Arts District. I visit this area a lot, I'll be back. The wood floors were a nice break from the concrete industrial vibe of other breweries in Aurora. I had the peach ale, just tapped today, it was lovely, peachy, caramel, perfect for a summer day. I'll try the Tira Mu Su when I go back.

i have been meaning to get out here for a long while now. its a very humble and small spot, run by young and very enthusiastic folks, and they construct some very cool beer. not sure why this place doesnt seem to make it on the map, but it should. way out on east colfax, dont let the neighborhood prevent you from visiting, its worth it. limited selection, they were out of a ton of interesting sounding beers while we were there, but the few they did have on were quite good. i liked the tiramisu inspired vanilla coffee blonde ale, and the raspberry red was also a nice change of pace. a long and narrow hall, with a nice patio out front, plenty of seating for the size of it, and a great breeze blowing through. service was amazing, these folks were so genuine, nice, and understated. like they dont know how good they are yet. huge selection of fun games to play, and a real mellow crowd. awesome vibe. i would love to go back when they have more of their beer working, but they have something going out here. well executed inventive beers, a good attitude, and fair prices. we will go back here and party a hundred times and enjoy this place until the rest of the denver beer scene catches on...
