I ordered 2cans from the brewery 473ml at 5.5%.
Poured a one to 2finger head into glass dark color good carbonation.
Lightly smoked easy drinking brown ale Yes made with real Honey enjoy with BBQ hard or smoked Cheese or soft fruit.
That's what it says on the can.
It has a very high bitter Honey coffee taste and maybe some dark chocolate.
Overall a little different but kinda bitter it's not that easy to drink it's bitter and strong
Cheers.

Look: Pours dark opaque Coca Cola brown, with a 1/4 finger head. Head disappears in the first minute leaving a small ring around the glass.
Smell: Light hints of smoke, dark fruit, raisins and malt
Taste: Soft wood smoke flavour on the front end, caramel and slight honey sweetness. Molasses and prunes. Somewhat of a nutty middle end, with a hint of dry roasted almond.
Feel: A gentle medium body mouthful. Plays high on the palate.
This beer is an example of the parts being greater than the sum. All the tastes and smells are favourites of mine, a nut brown smoked ale in theory should be exactly what I'm looking for but in this combination the result is kind of underwhelming. This beer earns a B. A decent beer, that with a little tweaking could be great.

Definately an acquired taste, but a top amongst smoked beers.

Hard pour into pub pint glass produced 1/2 finger of froth, not lacy but frothy. disappeared quickly although aroma was noticible from the pour even before I moved my nose towards the glass.
Dark chestnut in colour with little visual evidence of carbonation. head is gone within one minute and there is a slight collar remaining.
chocolate prevalent in the nose, some honey but to be frank very little to no smoke.
Sharp carbonation in initial sip but smooth and thick mouth feel after. Nice finish with a hint of smokiness. Molasses, nutty, earthy with a touch of sweetness but definitely not overwhelming (I don't really like sweet beers but this is by no means high on sweetness) Carbonation seems to disperse the subtle flavours more quickly than I would like. There are a lot of nice things going on here, but the carbonation just overwhelms the subtleties.
mouth feel starts off nice but again. carbonation steps in and takes away from the enjoyment. I will have to try this beer straight from the tap at the brewery to see if it is less carbonated on draft.
My feel is that this would be a very nice pint if cask pulled but it seems a bit gassy out of a can. A nice smoked beer that is not overpowering. Not sessionable because of the gassiness however. I will give it another chance however.

On tap @bent Elbow - puts a hazy brown brew in the glass with a 2 finger rocky off white head that reduced to a surface cap and laced the glass well. Aroma is pungent bready malts, smoke, some sweetness and earthy herbal tones. Medium bodied, slick mouth feel, silken delivery and a rounded character. Flavor has rich malty cereals and smoky notes struggling for dominance on the palate as this settles you get some roast nut tones, light herbaceous sweetness (not overpowering or obnoxious) and subtle bittering - goes to a long wet finish with bittering building to a warming end. A very decent brew, judicious us of smoked malt and honey - not to smoked out or sweet - good balance and drinkable.

A-Looks like coke/pepsi, with a large off white head
S-Some caramel and honey notes
M-Very high carbonation, too high in my opinion, mouthfeel is light.
T-Sweet upfront with bitter coffee and chocolate after
O-There are some interesting components to this beer, but they ultimately seem to dissolve away in the high leve of carbonation...

Pours - Dark mahogany brown cream colored head nice lacing.
Smell - The smoke stands out, little bit of honey and caramel some dark fruit.
Taste - Little more honey than in the smell the smoke is not quite as pronounced. Sweet caramel plum toasted malts.
Feel - Medium feel well carbonated little dry on the back end, little sweeter than I would have liked.
Overall - A decent beer little too sweet.
