I tried this beer at my bestie's country club, Cabarras, in Concord, North Carolina whilst there for the member-guest golf tounrament. It poured a slight hazy orangish with white head that left some lace. The scent had citrus peel notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet malt base with a variety of citrus presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbaonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Purchased on-tap at the bar at the brewery for $5.07. Poured into a plastic cup, per their COVID regulations. Writing this review here from notes I wrote on a napkin from it two days ago.
L - Bright brown with a two-finger off-white head. Head retains well.
S - Pine tar, grapefruit rind, and white bread crust. A bit of lemon.
T - An ethanol punch quickly shifts into a sweet pine and citron combination. Relatively balanced throughout. Mineral and dry pineapple finish.
F - Mild carbonation, full body. A little sticky. Not as drinkable as I'd like, but satisfying when you finish it.
O - Arguably one of their better brews on-tap when I was in town! Although it didn't exactly leave an impression on me worth visiting again, it suited the vibe of the mountains well enough. Worth trying, for sure.

Had on tap. Tastes like a gateway ipa. Sure there are plenty of hops, but because of the plentiful malting the beer is not bitter. IPA lite. The smell lets the hops star more however. So if you like not bitter ipas with limited complexity, this beer is for you!
