Purchased on-tap at the bar at the brewery for $5.07. Poured into a plastic cup, per their COVID regulations. Writing this review here from notes I wrote on a napkin from it two days ago.
L - Pours a dark amber with a two-finger frothy pale khaki head.
S - Generic cereal grains. Slight caramel. Nothing much else to detect.
T - Herbal and peppery, with underlying notes of whole wheat sliced bread and wet oak bark. A little bit of dank. Leans towards the bitter end of the spectrum, but it's not too bad.
F - Medium body, light carbonation. Sippable, but not exactly poundable.
O - If there was ever a beer that would pair extremely well with a double quarter-pounder, this would be it. It lacks the malty characteristics found it most red ales, but it's honestly not too bad a brew. Not for me, but I would at least give it a try if you're able.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
