Take an American pale ale, add real apricots and continual-hopping, and you’ve got our Apricot IPA. This IPA is both imaginative and unique. Notes of stone fruit, pine, and citrus emerge from the American malt and the Magnum hop backbone. Low hop-bitterness and a medium body make this IPA a go-to choice for a change of pace or a first entry into the world of IPAs.

On tap at the teeny tiny brewery.

Chalice pour, amber pale malt with a tight white head. Smells lightly of apricots, fruity hops, and cereal grain. Delicate and sweet.

Tastes good, not great. The interplay between the citra hops and the actual apricot is wonderful--imagine if Magic Hat's #9 were brewed to contemporary craft tastes. The trouble is the malt is off. I don't think they used extract, but it tastes super sweet and grainy, similar to powdered extract. This blots out a little bit of the fruit/hop combination and nearly spoils the beer's back end.

This has a golden Red hue to it. I found the taste to be much like a very light American IPA, with a clear Apricot taste. Considering this is one there 1st 5 beers day one from the brewery as they opened, this is very clear they are going to good and amazing things
