WARNING: If you do NOT like coriander, this beer is not for you!
This was my favorite summer beer. A very light body, packed with a unique blend of flavors. I can see why people may not be jumping off their barstools for it, as "Ginger" will not add any PBR flavor, but I would enourage all skeptics to try it. During a tour at the Brewery, I learned that they actually shred ginger root into the boil to help make a clean finish. I personally love the smell and taste of ginger, so when that's added to an already citrus type of ale, I thought the recipe was brilliant.
The only reason I started with a warning is because there IS an interesting genetic variant, where some people perceive coriander and cilantro as an off-putting taste. Luckily not me!

This libation was by far the worst of the beers I tried at the Whaler's Brewing Company tasting room during my visit.
There was a strong medicinal taste that lingered and ruined the beer.
I would not want to try this beer again.
