On tap at three v in Plymouth, Maclean golden beer, thin white layer , quickly recedes , some lacings

Mini-growler (32oz - mowler??) from the brewery, poured into a Whalers pint glass. Golden and clear, some fine drapage. Not overly aromatic. Surprised at the 8% ABV. It's a solid drinker, so best be careful! Overall a nice offering from a very cool brewery down in southern Little Rhody.

Poured 10/11/15 from a 32oz growler that was filled at the brewery on 10/9/15, into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a bright gold color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains floral hops, fruity citrus and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a nice burst of piney hops bitterness. Then some sweetness comes in from flavors of citrus and caramel. The malt character is hearty but not too heavy and brings a good balance. The after-taste is slightly hoppy and slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a solid IPA to drink for a long time.
