Batch #4, bottled on 12/2/16, poured from a wax-sealed 22oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light purple color with a very thin white head that fades very quickly and leaves very little lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains very tart blueberries, some wheat and some light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong, dominant, sour blueberry flavor. Then some very mild breadiness comes in from wheat and a very thin malt character. The sourness mellows somewhat as you continue to drink the beer and transitions into a decent balance. The after-taste is tart.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not filling at all, mild kick, good representation of style, if you’re into the intense sourness this is a solid beer to drink for a while.

Bottle. Poured pink. A load of vinegar and sourness on the nose. The sourness on the tongue makes your face adjust and forces you to blink. Balsamic vinegar flavor. The more dainty aspects leave this beer on the tongue.

Poured from a 22oz waxed and capped bottle, batch#1 into a tulip glass:
Appearance: pours a lovely, translucent pink color. Tons and tons of little bubbles in the body, but not much in the way of a head on it. Very little sudsy lacing. Color looks virtually neon, it's so bright pink.
Aroma: left a lot to be desired here. There's very subtle, muted blueberry and a little bit of tartness here, but there could be a lot more berry presence.
Taste: loved it. Very tart. The first sip gives a bit of a sweet, fleshy note, but the finish is all unripe blueberry, some lemon zest, and lots of lactobacillus. Lovely flavors. I'd like to go back and see if they used local blueberries or blueberry purée.
Feel: super crisp and clean. Drinks more like a soda than a beer in its heavy carbonation.
Overall: this was probably my favorite beer that I've had from Whaler's. I've found that their hoppy beers have been somewhat lacking, but they are a very new brewery, and if they keep on this path, maybe I'll be back much more often.
