Batch #1, bottled on 11/17/16, poured from a wax-sealed 22oz bottle into a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a light purple color with a very thin white head that fades very quickly and leaves very little lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains very strong cinnamon along with very tart blueberries, some wheat and some light caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out with a strong and sweet cinnamon flavor and a strong sour blueberry flavor that both hit at the same time. Then some very mild breadiness comes in from wheat and a very thin malt character. The sourness mellows somewhat as you continue to drink the beer and transitions into a decent balance, but the cinnamon flavor remains strong. The after-taste is tart.
M: Crisp and a little smooth, light body, medium-to-high carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: A little tasty, goes down ok, not filling at all, mild kick, good variation of style, if this review seems similar to my review of Pleiades it’s because this is the same beer with cinnamon added. Knowing that coming in, I thought I would prefer it without the cinnamon, but I found that the cinnamon tempered the sourness and created a nice combination of flavor.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
