Lagered for 8 weeks, this smooth German lager has a delicious malty sweetness with a dry, slightly spicy finish. Brewed with the city of Munich's water profile, tons of Munich and Vienna malts, and German Hallertau Mittelfruh hops, it's as authentic as we could make it!

On tap in a 20 ounce mug.
Clean copper amber color with a 1f linen white cap. Modest splashes of lacing.
Herbal and floral aromas to start followed by sweet caramel malt.
Toasted caramel breaded malt, Vienna style. Herbs and sweetness.
Smooth medium body. Bittersweet throughout.
Pretty much true to the style.

Honestly nothing special. Smooth, great finish, but it's very generic. Also I think the alcohol content should have probably been slightly higher given how dense it was.

A: Pours a clear deep reddish amber in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of carbonation and moderate honey orange + golden yellow + copper highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy tan head that quickly reduces to a large patch of mottled thin film covering the entire surface of the beer with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of toasted + caramel malts with light to moderate aromas of slightly fruity yeast and hints of floral + earthy hops.
T: Upfront there is a moderate flavor of toasted + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by light flavors of light fruit (apple) yeast and finishes with light flavors of floral + earthy hops which contribute a very light amount of bitterness which lingers for a short while.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth and clean.
O: A really nice American craft brewery example of the style. Easy to drink and quite enjoyable. Definitely worth grabbing if you get the chance.
