Lemonade Stand is an easy drinking, refreshing Sour IPA that takes you back to simpler times. Hopped with Sorachi Ace and Cascade, Lemonade Stand smells like those lemons you worked so hard to squeeze. The malt makes you remember adding sugar till it was the perfect balance of not too tart and not too sweet. The clean hoppy bitterness casually reminds you of how your cousin took all the credit in the town paper when you went back to make more. Lemonade Stand is the perfect pairing for those sour feelings after all these years.

A: Pours a clear medium copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint golden yellow highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy light beige head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thick film covering the entire surface of the beer with a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrus/lemon juice hops over the top of moderate aromas of caramel malts and just a hint of tartness. Hints of pine hops.
T: Upfront there is a just shy of moderate flavor of caramel malts with a light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of citrus lemon juice which contributes a light to moderate amount of tartness. Finally there is a light flavor of citrus/lemon and pine hops which contribute a touch of bitterness but there is a lingering tartness from the lemon juice.
M: Just shy of medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Very light amounts of acidic prickliness.
O: The lemon juice is reminiscent of "Real Lemon" rather than that of freshly squeezed lemons while the tartness was not as aggressive as I expected - I was expecting a Sour IPA rather than an IPA with lemon juice type flavors. I might pass on this one again.

Look: It pours golden with orange tinges. The head is pale yellow and the retention is fairly good.
Smell: The aromas are dominated by lemon and spice.
Taste: The flavors are a combination of lemon, spice, and grain with a sour and tart finish.
Feel: It has a slight tart and sour finish.
Overall it's a hoppy sour tart beer with some classic IPA hoppiness.

A deep orange, gold beer with a white head that fades and leaves no lacing. The aroma is bottled lemon juice, malt and pine. The taste is the same with a lot of bottled lemon juice flavor. The base beer seems tasty with a nice malty sweetness and a bitter finish but the lemon does not taste fresh and natural which takes away from the beer. Still a decent beer.
