Poured cloudy with a hazy orange-juicey type color. Citrus notes abound, and with subdued hops, this is the perfect summertime ale!!

A: Pours an extremely murky dark golden honey in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly along the edges of the glass and moderate amounts of dark golden yellow + burnt orange + copper colored highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of medium thick film covering the entire surface of the beer and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Strong aromas of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/passionfruit, citrus/orange, and tropical/papaya hops over the top of moderate aromas of biscuit + caramel + oat malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of biscuit + caramel + oat malts with moderate amounts of caramel sweetness. That is followed by just shy of strong flavors of juicy citrus/grapefruit, tropical/mango, tropical/passionfruit, citrus/orange, and tropical/papaya hops which impart a hint of bitterness which fades away almost instantly leaving lingering juicy fruity hop flavors. Hints of booziness in the finish
M: Slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth, almost fluffy with a light amount of dryness in the finish. Hints of alcohol warming in the finish.
O: Very enjoyable with a really nice hop profile though it could have done a little better with hiding the booziness. Definitely an interesting brew and I would have another of these.
