Look: It pours black with a brown head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: It has a strong citrus aroma to start. There are moderate supporting smells of roast, low chocolate, grapefruit, and floral.
Taste: The roast and chocolate are more balanced in the taste with citrus and floral elements. The roast is a little stronger than the other flavors, but otherwise, the balance it very good.
Feel: It has a medium-full body which a touch of harshness from the roast and a good note of hops bitterness to the finish.
Overall, this is a well balance IPA in taste with plenty of aroma as well. The bitterness is strikingly good with a touch of harshness in the roast.
