A: Pours an opaque thick viscous jet black in color with light to moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising slowly along the edges of the glass and faint dark cola brown + chestnut brown colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall dense foamy dark tan head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film covering a little more than 90% of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Slightly stronger than moderate aromas of dark roasted + charred malts with moderate aromas of oats, pecans, and toasted coconut. Finally there are light to moderate aromas of vanilla, cacao, cinnamon, and maple syrup sweetness.
T: Upfront there are slightly less than strong flavors of dark roasted + charred + oat malts with moderate to strong amounts of maple syrup sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of pecans and toasted coconut. Finally there are light to moderate flavors of vanilla, cacao, and cinnamon. Light to moderate amounts of lingering roasty bitterness.
M: Full bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth, almost creamy
O: Drinks pretty easily considering the strength/ABV and the booziness is well hidden. It has a lot of flavors that remind me of breakfast, granola, and trail mix. Very enjoyable as a dessert-style beer.

Look: It pours black, but not quite opaque. It has a thick brown head with excellent head retention.
Smell: The aromas are noticeable with pecan, coconut, chocolate, and roast. There is a low background nutty note from oatmeal. There is also a very light note of cinnamon in the background.
Taste: The flavors are a bit different from the aroma in that the cinnamon is strong with pecan and oats. There is a bit of roast and vanilla. Hop flavors aren't noticeable, but there is a slight background hint of dark fruits.
Feel: It has a full body with a slight bit of harshness from the roast. It has has a sweetness to it from the beginning all the way to the end. The alcohol is smooth.
Overall, there are a lot of flavors at work here and it works well, but the tinge of harshness with the sweetness in the finish does through it off a bit.
