The yang to our Suit and Thai IPA, this is a decadent Asian-Mexican fusion pastry stout! Dead Man Suit and Thai was fermented with three yeast strains before being conditioned on Thai peppers, coconut, cacao, and cinnamon.

I saw the 'Suit and Thai' reviews and they were overwhelmingly positive. I did not realize that was for an IPA not this Stout variant. While I trust the other reviews that the IPA version of 'Suit and Thai' by Southern Pines Brewing Company is very good, the stout variant is undoubtedly the WORST beer I have ever tasted. I have had other beers from the Southern Pines and they were fairly good so I think this one is an outlier. I had this noxious "stout" on tap at a local bar in the Raleigh NC area. While it smelled okay, after one sip I was literally on the verge of vomiting and couldn't continue. I don't know if beer was in some way spoiled, I certainly hope in was, but it it tasted like a mixture of very acidic vomit with a bizarre burnt charcoal like aftertaste. In summary: it was just terrible. Completely and utterly undrinkable.
