This crowd pleaser of a German Lager should not be contained to just Oktoberfest season, but rather enjoyed any time of year, much to our brewers' delights!

We brewed our Festbier along traditional German lines with Pilsner malt, and some Munich for maltiness, and hopped with noble Saaz. Prost!

look: 3.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3.5 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.5
Look: It pours golden with a white head. Head retention is average.

Smell: It has aromas of bread crusts with a very low level of herbs.

Taste: It has a toasty malt flavor with moderate herbs in support. There is noticeable alcohol in the flavor as well.

Feel: It has a medium body with a somewhat bitter and herbal aftertaste.

Overall, the alcohol is a bit strong an noticeable which makes it not as easy drinking as other Festbier.
