Look: It pours dark brown with a tan head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: The aromas have strong dark fruits flavors with a bit of sweetness to it. There is some toffee with slight night and a very low level of roast. There are also dark fruit notes of plums and raisins. There is also a moderate level of chocolate that really comes forward as the beer begins to warm.
Taste: It has sweetness to it with chocolate and toffee. There may even be a little hint of smoke. There are plum flavors with low levels of raisins. There is also a low level of vinous flavors as well.
Feel: It is smooth with a moderately full body.
Overall, this has multiple complex flavors and aromas that make this an excellent example of a Baltic Porter.
