Undated 12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson, SC ($2.39).
Appearance. Amber colored, clear body with a weak head.
For the style, this is malty and light on fruity-spicy yeast notes. I'll not hold this against it as it is reasonably close to style and the relatively sweet and malty flavor is quite good. The ABV is well hidden.

Look: It pours golden and brilliantly clear. It has a white head with good head retention.
Smell: It has a strong grainy aroma with spices quite evident. There are some light Belgian funk notes in the background.
Taste: It is quite malty in the flavor with plenty of grain notes. There is a moderate amount of Belgian funk with a good level of spiciness.
Feel: It has a medium full body with noticeable alcohol warming. The finish is quite dry.
Overall, the rye enhances the spiciness being well integrated in the overall flavors. It is a nicely construction Belgian Golden Strong Ale.
