The brewery says "Infallible is the name of a famous Salmon fly and as the salmon season begins in early autumn we have designed the beer to be deep amber in colour, using generous amounts of luxurious molasses to give a warm, malty ale scented with very light hop characteristic ideal accompaniment to home-made soups, pork pies and sausages."

On the 3rd Oct 2013 my wife and I had 22 half-pints between us at the 35th Telford Beer Festival: this was one of those 22. Hand-pulled, deep amber in colour, just like the brewery blurb says it is, with a thin white head.

Caramel malts certainly came through in the nose and taste: this is a malty brew for sure. Leaning towards a Winter warmer sort of beer, but lacking that rich, open fire sort of feel they often give. I like semi-sweet malty brews and this fitted nicely into that category.
