Cask. Clear burnished gold colour. Thin wispy head.
Understated aroma of caramel malt and damp wood.
The oak comes through on the taste. Vanilla detected. Well balanced with some hops.
This has the feel and taste of a beer from 'the wood' which I remember from my "salad days".
