Copenhagen 9/5 2021. 50 cl can. from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Black can with a huge spider in blue and red.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, slightly fermented odor of tropical fruits mingling with more subtle citric notes. Sweet peach and pineapple. Caramel. Citrus and sour gooseberries.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A tad too sweet for my taste buds but well made and silken.
