Copenhagen 13/1 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of a orange jellyfish which apparently has swallowed a hop flower on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with sweet, boozy, fruitiness mingling with tart citric fumes. Canned peach and mango. Alcohol. Citrus and grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a citric undertone. Finish is semi-dry with a boozy edge.
Well balanced and not overly boozy DIPA.
