Tea-coloured, clear. The head is very dense, with fine bubbles; it is high, persistent, and clings tightly to the glass, sometimes forming rings.
A strong, hoppy (fruity) aroma dominates the nose. A slight malty sweetness is merely a hint.
The flavour is decidedly dry. The bitterness has a fruity character, reminiscent of grapefruit; it is dry and sharp. It is long-lasting and moderately intense.
Moderate carbonation. Medium body. Moderately smooth texture. Long, dry finish.
