After a long day (17SEP25) of taking in the horror that is Auschwitz, I laxed back at the House of Beer in Krakow. Had two 0.5l cans of this to cap the eve, at 40Pzl each. A bit pricey, coming in at about $11.55 each, but I'm on vacation, so What the Fuck, Gus?!
Poured a semi-hazy, deep, dark mahogany. Had a wispy, thin, off-white layer of foam, mostly a rim-job, with light lace. Had a semi-sweet, rich aroma of cinnamon, apple, bourbon and caramel. Body was medium to medium-plus, and it was very smooth.
Flavor also is rich and semi-sweet. And, damn, it DOES taste like apple pie! Cinnamon, apple, caramel and toffee, with subtle bourbon lurking in the background. This melange of flavors lingered nicely on the palate. Went down easily for an 11% ABV beer... Nicely done, Birbant!! Na zdrowie!!
