330 ml bottle, Sklep Paryski, Warsaw - Pours jet black with a wafer thin tanned head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing when swirled. Aroma - strong coffee elements, dark chocolate, roasted malts, molasses, light smoke/char feel. Taste - Sweet forefront, coffee/dark chocolate, roasted malts, dry bitter finish with a nice little alcoholic warmth. One of the best and easy drinking RIS's I have tasted. Lovely.

Bottle shared. Pitch black pour with a thin, fine-grained tan head. Notes of chocolate, roasted malts, dark cherries, some molasses, smoke. Full bodied, smooth texture with a low carbonation and a roasty bitter-sweet finish.

Pours nearly black with a negligible, dark mocha head. Aroma smells of molasses, toffee, peanut brittle, and grassy hops.
The taste features roasted malt up front, accompanied by coffee grounds, the darkest chocolate, and hints of prunes. Noble, slightly herbal hops integrate nicely with the bitterness of the malt. Alcohol is barely discernible despite the ABV. Medium-heavy body and low carbonation make for a super-smooth, slick mouthfeel--almost like an oatmeal stout.
Overall, this is a smooth, rich, roasty imperial stout that’s very easy to drink and it manages to remain full-flavored without being heavy-handed or cloying.
