Poured from a 473ml can. 33 IBU's
A nice pour and a nice nose the coconut comes through the taste nicely.
All in all a easy drinking porter.
I think they have improved this porter over time, i did edit this post as the 2023-24 version is much better.

Appearance - Pours a nut brown with three fingers of light brown head.
Smell - earthy and leafy hops, cocoa, coffee bean, hint of coconut, roasted malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - earthy and leafy hops upfront then it goes into the cocoa and coffee bean, The coconut element is lost in translation with the bold notes from the cocoa and coffee bean. The roasted malts and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes smooth and creamy with the malts, cocoa and coffee bean lingering.
Overall - A solid base porter but as advertised on the can, the coconut is not there whatsoever which is disappointing. All other elements were spot on. Perhaps adding more coconut would help this brew be what its supposed to be.

473ml can - I wonder if they'll ever run out of canine references when naming their brews?
This beer pours a clear (I think), very dark brown colour, with two fingers of puffy, chunky, and somewhat creamy tan head, which leaves some decent spiky webbed lace around the glass as it quickly sinks out of sight.
It smells of roasted caramel malt, rather faint coconut flesh, bittersweet chocolate, some earthy nuttiness, cafe-au-lait, and super-tame leafy, weedy, and floral noble hops. The taste is semi-sweet, bready and doughy caramel malt, a bit of biscuity toffee, free-agent char, still hard to nail down pithy coconut, day-old coffee grounds, medium cocoa powder, a touch of black stone fruitiness, subtle anise spice, and more very underwhelming earthy, musty, and floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly restrained in its ennui-stricken frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and mostly smooth, with just a suggestion of ashiness getting in the way of the ideal here. It finishes off-dry, the malt, cocoa, and sure, coconut all contributing to the lingering cause.
Overall - while this is a pleasant enough base porter, the coconut component just doesn't deliver. It wouldn't be a problem if there were only supposed to be 'hints' of it, but it's splashed right across the label, so yeah, don't go into this one believing the marketing (not that one ever should).

Poured from can into 16oz chalice.
L: Deep brown to coffee black. Poured a 1 1/2 finger head, caramel brown in color which dissipated almost completely at 45-50 seconds.
S: Aromas of cocoa, coffee bean, roasted dark malts. No coconut.
T: Roasted malts, chocolate.
F: Smooth. Slight bitterness at the finish.
O: An average porter. I am not sure if the addition of coconut would add much, but it is difficult to pick any coconut apart from the other flavours. On the right track for becoming "better-then-average" thanks Yellow Dog!

Poured from a 473 ml can.
A: Cola black with quickly-dissipating tan head.
S: Dark roasted malt. Coffee.
T: This would be a good porter if it didn't have coconut in the name, since I am tasting none of the coconut.
F: Fairly crisp for the style, not as smooth as expected.
