473ml can - 'tis the season of ginger/fruit pairings in the brewing world, it would seem.

This beer pours a mostly clear, medium copper amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and somewhat fizzy off-white head, which leaves zilch in the way of lace anywhere near the glass as it quickly blows off.

It smells of store-brand ginger ale, the lime juice that comes in those little round plastic containers, grainy and bready cereal malt, saltine crackers, and very subtle earthy, musty, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is gritty and grainy pale malt, lightly spicy ginger root, muddled lime flesh, a hint of lactic sourness, saline solution, and more ethereal leafy, weedy, and musky floral hoppiness.

The carbonation is average in its palate-pinging frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and essentially smooth, once one becomes used to the bite of ginger and lime alike at this point in the game. It finishes off-dry, the citrus-tinted ginger ale soda association growing with each glug.

Overall - yuppers, this one certainly delivers on its marketing promise, with both of the adjuncts bringing their A-game. Crisp, refreshing, and totally worthy of a few turns on a sunny and warm patio, should you get the chance - so go get it.
