This and Wildeye brewing Neon Nectar IPA has to be my two favorite beers of all time.
L - Super hazy, dark orange and opaque. Thick fluffy white head that lingers in clean IPA glass, lacing the whole way down.
S - Fresh cut grass, soft pine, grapefruit tropical mango, peach, nectarine and other stonefruit, a dry, pine resinous note presents itself as it warms.
T - Complex and deep. pine and grapefruit upfront, spicy, layered with stone fruit and mango with a slight sweetness, fruity, really refreshing. The citra hops really present themselves with lots of melon, grapefruit, mango, and tropical fruit, finishing with a bready graham cracker malt undertone, bitterness is medium, with more of the hop flavor coming through. Could drink a few of these before realizing the percentage (6.5 on this batch). This beer goes extremely well with food, burgers and grilled meats are my favorite. Anything spicy tends to overpower it a bit, or since its an IPA, the bitterness makes the spicy worse.
F- creamy, medium carbonation, not as thick of a mouth feel as some of the other IPAs I have had, but the oats really lend to the silky creaminess i get from this. Dry in the finish that leaves you wanting to take another sip.
Overall delicious. Hazy IPAs have to be my favorite style, and this one is top-notch. Highly recommended, but be carful, this one will sneak up on you.

This beer is well balanced but it's more neipa than West coast
Citra notes with some pine, no dank, sweet and malty
Not too bitter but hop presence is definitely there in the after taste

Pours golden yellow with nice white fluffy foamy head. Crisp and refreshing West coast IPA on draught in Vancouver at The Keg.

A - Super hazy, cloudy, mucky muddy dark pale orange. Definitely opaque. Good lacing - actually this beer is so hazy and nicely colored that it’s actually pretty.
S - slight flora hop aroma
T - hoppy bitterness piney, minor citrusy mango/orange but not fruity
Mf. - medium light body dry finish.
O - though hazy this beer has quite the quite the bitting hoppy bitterness.

This brew comes off a little thin for hazy and the ones I’ve had of late leave me looking for a fruitier-hop character which this lacks. Then it finishes with the flavor more of the pith than the advertised grapefruit. Tasted in Vancouver.

Murky orange-brown color. Many small-medium bubbles formed on the side of the glass. Very little head, and it reduced to a patchy skiff in half a minute. No lacing.
Smells of mostly tart, slightly floral hops with a trace of citrus and cereal or cookie malt. Swirling the glass kicked up something funky that was on the way, but didn't make it, to a light barnyard smell. A bit more orange showed up.
Medium bitters make way for some orange pulp flavor with some graham cracker malt. The aftertaste turns to bitter orange pith which quickly fades away. The flavor was dominated by a mild barnyard after the beer warmed up a bit.
Slowly grows to a light foam in the mouth.
This has also changed in the 2 years since I first had it (my total rating has dropped about 3/4 of a point). My notes from the time described orange citrus flavors and strong hop florals. The orange is still there, but some of the florals have been replaced with barnyard. This same change across a couple of breweries really sounds like something happened to the hops in the supply chain.

The only downside to this beer is the metallic canned taste - remove that, perhaps on tap, and it would be an exceptional IPA.

This one came across as too much like orange juice and not enough as a hazy IPA. Any subtleties in terms of alcohol, hops or taste really was drowned in the citrus. Surprised there was not pulp on top
