A strong pour from a 16-oz. can yielded a finger of white soapy foam that quickly shrunk to a lasting cap. Hazy translucent yellow straw color. No lasting lace, it all slides down.
Citrus featuring lemon greets the nose, orange soda, cracker and wheat thins follow. Coriander and faint baking spices are noted, replacing hops per style. These items follow to the taste.
The taste is a hair on the sweet side with moderate white pepper bitterness and a slight tang. Pale malt is matched well with wheat creating a rich balanced flavor. Wheat bread and rising dough prevail over cracker as bitterness builds to medium-high at the fast, clean finish. Peppery spice lingers a while.
Medium-light body, plenty of carbonation in reserve. Oily rich on the palate from malt (oats maybe), smooth and session-able. True to style, warms well and has an overall clean taste. Alcohol is very well hidden.

On-tap 1/24/2016 at Pour Farm Tavern in New Bedford, MA, served in a US tumbler pint glass.
A: The beer is a deep yellow color, with a thin white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains Belgian yeast, wheat, citrus, light caramelized malts and a touch of hops.
T: The taste starts out bready with flavors of Belgian yeast and wheat. Then some mildly sweet flavors of citrus and caramel come in. The malt character is on the thin side for the style as is the hops presence creating a decent balance. There’s also a hint of spice. The after-taste is very bready.
M: Smooth and a little crisp, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, decent kick, good representation of style, this is a decent beer but there are better choices within the style.
