4.6%abv, bottle-conditioned. Pours amber with thick lasting off-white head. Aroma/Taste: fruity, high bitterness. Hop flavours dominate. Overall: Powerfully flavoured amber ale, quite good.

4.6%ABV: 500ml Bottle conditioned, best before the end of Sept 2012. poured into a UK pint sleeve @ home during a random tasting evening on 16 Nov 2012.
This is more flavoursome and better than the cask version I had earlier in the year, that extra 0.6%ABV must make all the difference.
Huge biege head on top of the brown body, good heavy lacing on the glass.
Malty, roasted, toasted malts with a fruity shortbread biscuit in both the nose and mouth: really enjoyed this.
Body depth was fine and suited the alcohol strenght nicely, a mini hop bitterness finished off the taste to give you a pleasant dry aftertaste.
