Tasted by half pint at the Lord of the Mall, a JDW pub on the Whitehall street nr. Trafalgar Sq.
A: clear pale amber hue, with a thin white foamy head, low carbonation.
S: mildly caramel note on top of tangerine-like fruity hops and some mild herbs--very refreshingly fruity on top of a malty overtone.
T: the initially light caramel maltiness balanced by a flow of profound herbal hoppyness... decorated with some orangey fruity hint at the wings of the main flavour; gradually a stream of bitterness develops and intensifies until overwhelming the whole palate, making an utterly satisfyingly bitter finish.
M&D: the mouthfeel is really good, really fresh and lively yet also soft, just what a good pint of real ale should be like. A solid beer, though it's hard for me to relate this beer to X'mas or winter anyway~~
