I had this beer on-tap in a big taster glass at Oregon Brewers Festival. This is a weissbier brewed with Champagne yeast.
Appearance: light golden hue with a light effervescence and a little bit of haze. There's a little bit of white foam with a nice lace on the glass. Not too bad.
Smell: refreshingly wheaty with a nice earthy, herbal and noble hop character. There's a little bit of the traditional banana flavor in there too. I rather like it!
Taste: noble hops right up front, followed by some banana. There's a nice estery complexity here; quite tasty.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a decent carbonation and good creaminess. A little more body would help this beer a lot, I think.
Overall: I quite like this beer. It's nicely drinkable and has a fine flavor indeed.
