Impenetrably black coffee lager brewed with roasted coffee beans from well regarded Coffee Brothers.
Deep, rich cool conditioned dark malt lager that leaps with flavors of coffee and dark chocolate.
3:30 in title speaks to brewers dilemma of when brewing at that time in the morning… is it too late for coffee or too early for beer?

Had on tap at Hart’s Pub @ The Rocks/Sydney Australia. Sam ( bartender) recommended this “one off” as a very good brew from the relatively new Modus Operandi Brewing. He said all their beers were spot on, and quickly drawing attention to this brew team.
Grateful for suggestion. This was perfect blend of a rich dark lager with a great cup of coffee.
Completely black with relatively quick off white head. Nice lacing and residual halo in the glass as beer consumed.
Light malty roasty nose; some coffee.
Taste was excellent. Deep rich dark malts, coffee and quite a bit of dark chocolate from both. Body was lager crisp yet still medium bodied and smooth. Nice job!
Pretty unique to find a coffee lager but this was awesome. Having on tap properly chilled/ at cellar temp also let the beer really reveal itself.
Great experience; great beer.
