Appearance: Slightly hazy gold. Fluffy white head with good retention.

Aroma: Spicy/herbal hops. Biscuity malt.

Flavor & Aftertaste: Malt forward - biscuity. Spicy/herbal hops. Moderate bitterness. Low sweetness.

Mouthfeel: Semi-dry, moderate to low carbonation. Medium length finish.

Overall: Good choice for lager drinker at this brewery. Well within style. It is bitter on the balance, with a bitter kick in the finish, but it does not linger long.

a solid pils, maybe not exactly special or memorable, but clean and well lagered with plenty of flavor but also refreshing and bright, exactly what i was looking for when i got into it, a bit less obviously european in terms of grain and yeast character, at least when its frosty cold, but its not hurting for personality, and pretty much checks all the boxes for me. slightly richer looking blonde color, near clear, and with good carbonation throughout, looks the part. aroma here has a noble hop kick but it isnt objectively hoppy, its got nice minerality, a simple crackery grist, and has that cold fermented crispness but not a ton of yeast flavor, minimal in a good way, fresh to me, and nicely proportioned. the flavor is pretty quick from start to finish, brisk and snappy and refreshing, excellent ferment here. the grain is light and pleasant, white bread and earthiness, while the hops do actually pack a little complimentary back end bitterness and the faintest generic citrus note. carbonation is high and the bubbles are big, it makes this really refreshing, and its quick on the swallow too, easy, and its food versatile. well made beer, nothing crazy, but these guys are doing a really nice job across an impressive range of styles and their taproom experience is a great one. check them out when in savannah!

A shame what dirty lines will do. Went to Churchill’s, this tasted like wet cardboard. Seems like thsnhas been going on for awhile, see also Pweis909’s 2018 review. Went to the source and it was fresh, crisp, and hoppy. Would drink a gallon of it.

Had Rally Point poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "BESTBY: MAR2921," into pilsner glass.

Pours deep gold with clarity and 1/2-finger near-white head, which quickly dissipates to a partial film and ring, and leaves no lace. Nice malt aroma but too little--only a hint--of noble hop spice. Begins with mild carbonation, then nice sweet malt, and a bit of fruit, before a crisp, drying, just bitter enough finish.

Solid session pilsner.

I tried this at the Alley Cat Lounge in Savannah.....it didn't really care for it....wasn't the pilsner I hoped.

I’m drinking this in an English themed pub, and that may color my review. The beer comes across to me as a bitter rather than a pils.

Appearance - more amber than straw. Head and carbonation lacking.

Aroma-some estery or ciders smell. In home brewing lagers, I have encountered this using s23 dry lager yeast.

Taste- some soapy character followed by sweeter malt finish.

The beer is drinkable. There are some characteristics that seem out of style but I don’t necessarily hate them. But I have to say if I brewed a pils and got this, I would be disappointed.

My first offering from SBC and I kinda liked it...

Though pilseners are not necessarily my style of choice, I do believe I enjoy a solid one when I come across it, and this one is pretty solid. Good coloration for the style, slight lacing with a weak head. The smell is bready, malty, with a slight sweetness. Mouthfeel is very light and crisp with a distinct carbonation you can't escape. The taste was everything I read on the can - especially the spiciness you sometimes read about but don't quite get. This one was quite spicy making it unique (IMHO) for the style. A good solid pils, maybe not the best I've had but certainly out one I will enjoy quite a few more times.
