Had Gun Bunny poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "PKGDON: MAY1920," and "BESTBY: NOV1920," into Teku tulip 3.0.
Pours light-gold with clarity and 1-finger-plus creamy near-white head, which feels really nice on your upper lip but eventually dissipates to a persistent film and ring, leaving splotchy lace. Big spicy, orange and coriander aroma, that lasts. Begins with carbonation and sweet malt then big spicy coriander and wheat bite, over nice light malt, carrying through orange flavor, into very crisp, drying finish.
Except for a disappointing lack of classic witbier haze, this is an excellent Belgian-style witbier.

On tap in St Simons. Cloudy with minimal head. Smooth and easy drinking.

Pale golden color, brilliantly clear. Pours moderate sized head with mediocre retention.
Weird initial aroma with some vegetal notes. Smells of coriander and is a bit minty. Definitely smells more like a spice & herb beer than a witbier.
Fairly thin tasting, not much in the way of malt. Flavor has the strong slightly minty spice noted for the aroma. Pretty one dimensional.
Light body, fairly high carbonation. Carbonation makes it crisp and refreshing...if not for the overspice flavors.
Definitely not what I was expecting. More of the flavor needs to come from the Belgian yeast...less from the spicing.

A: Cloudy, yellowish orange, large white head, good lacing
S: Citrus, spice
T: Malty sweetness, citrus comes in then an astringent spiciness almost like cough syrup, ends with a sweet orange aftertaste
M: Medium
O: A quality beer, however it just had a bit of an off pudding taste to me. A good representation of the style just maybe a bit overdone on the spice.
