citra, mosaic, and idaho 7 in this approachable hazy, summery and fresh hop profile, very little over hopped burn, fluffy feeling from some grains that arent barley, and without much from the ferment, not depending on one of those new school yeast strains to make it juicy, the hops do that. still, i found this a little samey, a million beers like it exist, which is kind of where the hazy style has been for awhile, and its a tad less refined overall than their best beers we had when we visited, ever so slightly fuller feeling, even filling, and with more of a linger than i want, its with me awhile after each sip. idaho 7 is cleaner here than it can sometimes be, none of the onion thing, and the mosaic too, not all catty, its bright and as flavorful as it is aromatic, notes of zested lemon and grapefruit, crushed pineapple, and orange candy, some sweetness at the end adds to that and to the linger. its got little bitterness but some greenness in the mix, not to a problematic or sloppy level, just not as vibrant as it could be. some oils from the hops too. its obviously citra driven but the other hops layer in well, and i think this would appeal pretty well to any fan of the style. i was impressed with how many things they do well here, from oyster stout to hazy to sour to lager, really diverse and solid!
