a double dry hopped juicy ipa from these guys, their contribution to the pink boots thing, which seems to really have taken off over the last few years, way cool! i believe this is also fruited, it has tropical tones that are unlikely to all be from this hop blend, but its not overdone or sweet, and this is summery and flavorful, a fine offering for this time of year. a little richer than blonde in terms of color, unfiltered for sure but not aggressively hazy, and with awesome carbonation and a lasting near inch of white froth, looks delicious and summery. the aroma is peaches and pineapple, major fruitiness, even a candied up front intensity to it, an almost melon thing to the hops that i often get from el dorado, but im not sure what all is in this, sweet citrus, clementine maybe, orange hard candy, modern yeast too could be in play, and this seems thiol and terpene forward, they have gotten a lot out of these hops if there is no fruit here. the flavor follows the nose, unique to me on the hop side, pineapple for sure, perhaps a strawberry kick, and an overall bouquet of fruitiness that is unforced and makes this unique. i like the relative lack of bitterness, it doesnt force the hops to finish, so even though this isnt sugary, its on the palate awhile, still evolving. medium body, simple grain bill i would think, some minerality coming through as it warms which highlights the hops, stone fruit at the end, even a faint almost brine element. very tasty stuff here, one of the better pink boots beers ive had from anyone in recent years...

On tap at the brewery's taproom in Savannah Georgia.

Appearance. Cloudy, straw colored body with a good white head.

Aroma. Distinct, relatively strong, spicy and fruity. Hints of pineapple and citrus fruits.

The flavor is also strong but less spicy and way more dank with an unfortunate suggestion of rubber.
