This is a tasty west coast ipa straight from japan. Looks good, smells great, decent mouthfeel. Has a unique citrus taste with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall, a strong submission in a crowded field. The daidai fruit definitely make this one stand out.

Poured a cloudy golden orange. Light head that quickly dissipated.

Great citrus nose, with a strong hop character. This is a well balanced beer, with the 70 IBU disappearing into the added sweetness from the dai dai fruit. It has a lovely sweet apricot flavor in the middle, with a nice but not overwhelming hop kick to finish. I found this very drinkable, and I think it could almost be dangerously balanced, considering the 7.5% abv. It was definitely more-ish.
