Brewer's Notes: Holiday Joy Spiced Ale 2005 is a robust, red-hued winter ale with a pleasant alcoholic warmth (approximately 6.0% alcohol by volume). Three popular Christmas-season spices (cinnamon, nutmeg and clove) are added to Holiday Joy at the end of wort boiling and this lends a magnificently festive aroma and pleasantly sweet spice flavor to the beer. Holiday Joy Spiced Ale thus can perform equally well as an aperitif or as a nightcap (or, for that matter, anywhere in between). It is enjoyed most fully, though, when imbibed in the company of friends and family.
