330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Very deep mahogany brown color with some amber tinge along the edge, it tops with massive creamy light tan head that withstands with great retention before slowly collapsing to an eternal fluffy crown and leaving some lacing on the glass-side.
In a nose, grassy, earthy, and citrus from hop while malt is there too with its dark chocolate, black coffee, dark bread, light caramel, roasted, and charred nut.
The taste is led and carried along by heavy bitterness from both hop and roasted profile. It is followed by the crisp of hop with notes of citrus, bold earthiness and grassiness. Dark chocolate, black coffee, roasted, dark bread, charred nut, and soft sweetness from malt disclose later while the finish and aftertaste is lingering with roasted and bitter touch.
Medium body with some crisp and moderate carbonation through the palate, semi-smooth mouthfeel, finish is dry. Decent Black IPA, not bad.
