Brewer's Notes: "Fuggle" is the name of a traditional British hop, and Baird Fuggle Summer Ale is hopped solely with Fuggle, hence the beer's name. Fuggle Summer Ale is brewed stylistically in the tradition of English summer ales. In addition to Maris Otter pale ale malt, twenty percent of the grist bill derives from malted English wheat which lends a crisp and tartly refreshing quality to the brew. 6/6/06
