This crisp yet hardy Strong Pale Ale is hopped exclusively with the New Zealand varieties we have on hand (Hallertau Aroma, Motueka and Cascade). The aroma is beautifully fragrant, reminiscent of ripe citrus fruit and flowers in bloom. A honey-malt sweetness in the mouth quickly gives way to an invigoratingly brisk, bitter-dry finish.

Bomber thanks to Chris@Slowbeer.
Orange-gold with noticeable haze. Head is near-white, pillowy and huge. Very strong retention - after 5 minutes there's still a thick mat of bubbles. Modest lace trails and spots.
Agreeably tropical off the bat, led by orange, pineapple and rockmelon. Cut grass and herbal spice build momentum and become the main event. Kind of phenolic, boiled candy sweetness.
Taste is much more NZ-ish with abundant sharp organic and spicy hops. Mainly white grapes, wet grass, cut herbs and kiwi fruit.
Smooth and silky. Some tingly carbonation on the tongue and a mild but satisfying bitterness on the rear palate.
The taste may not be spectacular, but everything else about this beer seems custom-made for an easy drinking and pleasant experience. Impressed me more and more over the course.

Pours a dirty hazy yellow hue which leaves a three finger frothy head that stays and leaves heaps of clingy lacing, the smell is perfume laden fresh flowers in bloom, honey, kiwifruit and citrus, the mouthfeel is creamy and just over light bodied with tastes of rockmelon, floral perfumey hops, kiwifruit, sav blanc grapes, honey and finished with a bittersweet hit of lemon sherbet and overall i like it just a tad pricey for what it is i think cheers.
