Having a pint of this at Vivo! in Ikebukuro's 2nd Anniversary celebration. This pale ale is brewed by Baird and is exclusive to this bar for this season, so I'm excited about this opportunity. The brew is a beautiful burnt orange in hue with very little head, only appearing in petry dish patches. It is full of nice bitter hops (Citra, New Zealand Cascade, and Atanum), giving the 6% a bit of a boost in impact while there are noticeable fruity traces of apricot or mango or orange. The blend works amazingly, perfectly bittersweet in taste. The fruity scent is subtle but present. Overall, this is a wonderful pale ale with lots of flavor and hoppy spice and a pleasant aftertaste. It is extremely limited, but if you can make it to Vivo! in Ikebukuro, I suggest you try it this year before it goes away!
